Hollandaise Sauce Recipe - Recipe by Trish Keefer

Hollandaise sauce is best known for being a key ingredient for Eggs Benedict, but did you know it tastes delicious on grilled steak or fish, and on roasted vegetables? It’s a great way to add flavor and healthy fat with tons of flavor to your meals!

Ingredients List:

  • 3 egg yolks

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • ½ tsp salt

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Add egg yolks, lemon juice, Dijon, salt and cayenne pepper into a high powered blender and blend for 5 seconds

  2. Melt the butter in a microwave (in covered container) for about 1 minute

  3. With the blender running on medium high, slowly stream in the hot butter into the mixture until it’s emulsified.

  4. Pour into a container and serve while warm.
